 First place in the 5on5 CLGaming-tournament Crossdead - 13.02.2011
With an excellent accomplishment of our 5on5 international team we was able to reach the first place of the CLGaming tournament.[Preview_ende]The tournamenet from CLGaming was announced late, but it was on time and Riot supported it as good as well. The torunament was advertised in the League of Legends news and only the 4 best teams got an invitiation for it and played in it.
The teams:

*aAa* - Against all Authority
SK - SK-Gaming
H2K - H2K-Gaming
myR - myRevenge e.V.

The Cup started on the 12.02.11 at 21:00 o´clock and was finished at 03:00 o´clock in the morning.
The Matches:

1. Match / bo1 / *aAa* vs. myR
2. Match / bo1 / SK vs. H2K
3. Match / bo1 / Loserbracket / *aAa* vs. SK
4. Match / bo3 / Winnerbracket / H2K vs. myR

The Rules of the Cup:

- Bans: 1-2-2-1
- Picks: 1-2-2-2-2-1 Exclusive
- Each team will have 90 seconds per ban/pick round. If the time runs out on a ban, the ban is lost. If this
happens during a pick round, the team may be disqualified. The bans & picks will be done in QuakeNet IRC.

And now we will preview you the whole matches. You are also able to watch the matches as a replay on own3d.tv -> You can find the Link at the end of the post.

CLGaming organized the whole Cup and presented the matches on a Livestream with Htshotgg as a commentator who is also a great player in the lolscenery. The finals was commented by phreak who is an employee of Riot. Before the torunament started everyone was able in the IRC Channel to win a legendary skin a champion bundle and a BigFoot networkadapter. The Cup was very well structured and sometimes the Livestream got 15000 viewer which was the reason for the Livestream crash.

The Matches:

1.Match / *aAa* vs. myR

Lineup *aAa*:

Wewillfailer --> Heimerdinger
Yellowstart --> Ashe
Kujaa --> Janna
Linak --> Udyr
Nidalee --> Soaz

Lineup myR:

P3k3 --> Swain
Cyanidefi --> Rammus
MagicFingers --> Corki
Mellisan --> Janna
Shushei --> Malphite

This match could be a rematch of the monthly Go4LoL final, because aAa nearly played the same LineUp. Although both teams were rushed in the jungel but there was no gank at the beginning. A strange decision by aAa was that they havn´t pick ignite in their summoner spells while they had a few healchamps. Through a great laningphase and a nice beginning in the early-game we were able to rule the game against aAa. So it was the first win of the day.

Comment by Mellisan :

"We went into this game with a bit of mixed feelings, knowing we have a good setup and them a bit exotic one, but we also lost against that exact setup once already.
Turned out to be going better this time, with killing Heimerdinger 2 times in mid, we had a really well equipped Swain for midgame. Other lanes were pretty equal.
When they tried securing a quick dragon with Heimerdinger turrets, we pretty much crushed into them, having 2 Tanks, Taric and Swain, didn t get the dragon, but a lot of kills and a tower after.
Following that, we were stronger in the teamfights and thus managed to get all dragons and a baron.
They didn t have much of a chance to make a comeback after that, which resulted in them losing the game after 36 minutes."

2.Match / SK vs H2K

Lineup SK:

Wickd --> Irelia
Ocelote --> Corki
Araneae --> Taric
Serverus --> Kennen
SleazyWeazy --> Rammus

Lineup H2K:

Play int its Ok --> Ashe
Habicht --> Malphite
abcDDS --> Nunu
Skaft --> Vlad
JothY --> Zilean

Until this game was played owned.tv had a crash and a downtime, but the community said it was a dominated match bei H2K.

Comment by Cyanidefi :
"The game between SK and H2K was a rather intresting game. The purpose of H2Ks team was pretty simple; AoE. Vlad, Nunu and Malphite proved to be a devastating combination of AoE and CC.
SK didn't go with their setup for anything too fancy. Irelia and Rammus are extremely dangerous heros that are good taking 1 enemy at a time, and Kennen has a strong AoE ultimate to keep the enemies still.
I feel that many mistakes - even stupid ones - were made this game from both sides. In this game I also feel that some other mage, Swain for example had done much more than Irelia, even though Wickd did a
rather good job (even though he could've been more agressive on lane IMHO). H2K had the stronger picks this game, but they also played better which gave them the dominance throughout the game and ended up
giving them the win."

3.Match / SK vs *aAa*

Lineup SK:

Wickd --> Janna
Ocelote --> MissFortune
Rashashi --> Cho'Gath
Serverus --> Morgana
SleazyWeazy --> Shen

Lineup *aAa*:

Yellowstar --> Corki
Wewillfailer --> Soraka
Linak --> Malzahar
SOAZ --> Malphite
Kujaa --> Warwick

aAa was able to save the firstblood in this match through a gank by Warwick at top lane. The first dragon was also played by aAa. SK Gaming wasn`t able to defend or to counter those actions. Warwick had a very well game and he made some nice ganks on all lanes. aAa was the smarter team this time, because they safed many dragons and so they was able to dominate SK Gaming the whole game. At the end aAa pushed the mid lane and ended this game.

Comment by P3k3 :
"The match aAa vs SK was mostly a one-side match because SK was doing a bunch of silly mistakes(the didnt use to have them). I guess they are a bit unfocused lately but they can do best for sure. Also aAa did a
realy great game cant deny that they played realy good and deserved that win."

4.Match / H2K vs myR

First Round:

Lineup myR:

P3k3 --> Swain
CyanideFi --> Rammus
Shushei --> Cho'Gath
MagicFingers --> Ashe
Mellisan --> Taric

Lineup H2K:

Play Int Its Ok --> Corki
abcDDS --> Nunu
JothY --> Zilian
Skaft --> Vlad
sommie --> Malphite

Bans: Kassadin, Anivia, Morgana, Malzahar, Sivir, Janna

This game started in a very interisting way. In the 2nd minute Sushei saved the firstblood for his team at the blue buff. In the 4th minute rammus ganked the toplane earned a kill and so they was able to dominate the earlygame. Cyianidefi was also wide awake and killed Heimerdinger which was porting back at the mid lane, cause of his low hp. After that Swain also tried a gank and was successful where he earned 2 kills. The first baron and the first dragon was also gained by myRevenge and so we had a predominance. After the 2nd baron for us we was able to push through the mid and the result was the victory.

second Round:

Lineup myR:

P3k3 --> Swain
CyanideFi --> Rammus
Shushei --> Cho'Gath
MagicFingers --> Ashe
Mellisan --> Taric

Lineup H2K:

Play Int Its Ok --> Corki
abcDDS --> Nunu
JothY --> Zilian
Skaft --> Vlad
sommie --> Malphite

The 2nd round started with the firstblood in the 6th minute who was lost by Peke, so H2K saved it. H2K changed the toplane with the midlane so Nasus have taken the midlane and Malzahar the toplane. in the 12th and 14th minute myR was able to earn 2 kills and also the bot tower. The first dragon was also killed by myR which helped us a lot in the early game. The biggest clash was at the 25 minute at the redbuff from H2K which ended with a 4/0 for myR. And last but not least the last clash was played in the 34. minute which was the reason why myR earned the victory after that and a mid push.

Comment by Shushei :
"The Secound Final game Versus H2k, we decided to play Sion, Vladimir, Taric, Corki, Rammus while enemies picked Malzachar, Shen, Nassus, Caitlyn, Janna.
Early game was won by us ( i think so ) thanks to Cyanides and mines early ganks (Rammus and Sion with mobility boots ), which secured us easy drakes. And posibility to steal their jungle buffs.
Midgame me and peke got a bit carried away and jumped one by one into 5 of them after 3v5 fight mid. I died without scoring anything, Peke managed to take down 2 of them together with Melisans oracle amused.
Thus we recovered from MADNESS and continued playing calmy, while controling most of map. Though pushing 5v5 with their turret was rlly hard thanks to malzachar with banshee.
But we found a solution, Sion charged his shield sideway w8ted for creeps and flashed into enemies stuning one and exploding( exposing himself to malzachar grasp and dying) though that gave chance for us to obliterate enemies, while they focused Barbarian
Thus acing them, twice in this style. Secound ace secured us a win."

The team myRevenge around his leader WetDream was able to save the first place at the CLGaming Cup which was a great succes for us.

Comment by Crossdead :

I´m very glad with the results of the Cup. The Cup was also great organisated and the commentators helped a lot for a great time while the matches. Only the crash of the Livestream which was the result of 15000 viewers was a little bit bummer. I´m proud of my team and i think that the win for myRevenge was already deserved.

Congrulations guys! Very well played!
